Al Areen Development has awarded an information and communications technology infrastructure contract to stc Bahrain for the Al Areen Park Hotel. This agreement focuses on the integration of digital systems at the facility, located in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Scope of Technological Upgrades
The technical scope of this project encompasses the installation of an IP telephony system, an IP CCTV security surveillance system, and dedicated network infrastructure for both guests and management. Plans also specify the provision of full Wi-Fi coverage throughout the property. Beyond these internal systems, the contract includes the implementation of integrated security solutions alongside the deployment of 5G mobile communication coverage to ensure high-speed connectivity.

Al Areen Development functions as a 2-million-square-meter master-planned, mixed-use destination. The site is situated in the southern desert region of Bahrain, near Zallaq. Current design projections indicate the development is intended to host a population of roughly 25,000 residents and visitors. These infrastructure upgrades serve as a component of the broader efforts to manage the requirements of the location's density and its role within the national hospitality sector.
