Talabat has appointed Zain Bashir as the Managing Director of its Bahrain operations. In this role, Zain Bashir oversees the company’s business strategy and service delivery within the country. The appointment marks a leadership change for the platform in Manama. Zain Bashir previously held professional positions across markets including Pakistan, Oman, the UAE, and the UK. He also holds a degree from Manchester Business School. Bader Al-Ghanim, who serves as the Managing Director of talabat in the UAE, has coordinated the regional transition. The company continues to operate its food and grocery delivery services across Bahrain under this new leadership structure.
Professional Background and Experience
Zain Bashir brings over 13 years of cross-functional leadership experience to his new position. His professional history includes operational roles across Pakistan, Oman, the UAE, and Bahrain. Before assuming his current duties in Manama, he held the titles of Regional Senior Director of Grocery & Retail Marketplace and Interim Managing Director of the UAE for talabat. He also holds a Master’s degree in Management from Manchester Business School in the UK.
